The first way requires a pressure treated plywood. You can use any other wood that is high on moisture. To start cutting, set the depth of your circular saw. The depth is set according to the material of the object. Since we are talking about wood here, a quarter inch is recommended.

The depth must be adjusted well so that your circular saws instantly cut through the object. After you are done with that, fit the saw at the edge of the object.

The second method requires using a track. You can either buy a track or make it yourself. They are quite inexpensive if you consider buying one. However, if you want to make one, you would need a few things. The basic equipment like pencil, tape measure, square, chalk line, drill, and screws is required to make a track.

There are countless tutorials that are available online. They will teach you everything about how to make a track. Once you have built it, you can place it under the object and start cutting objects with the circular saw.

One thing to note is the size of the track. Make sure that you have made a track that can support the size of the objects you want to cut. If not, it would be proven ineffective.

By using either of these two methods you can start cutting with your circular saw without a table. However, to use any method you would require an efficient circular saw. If your circular saw is not powerful enough, it cannot do the job, not even with a table.

Although there are some options available in the market that are equipped with their own tables, they are quite expensive. Not everyone can afford them. These methods, however, can be used by every individual.
